TACTILE SURFACES
Tactile Surfaces are a system of textured ground surface indicators that can be found on footpaths, stairs and public transit platforms to assist the visually impaired. They feature truncated domes to create a clear warning of hazardous surface, or way finding bars for directional guidance.
Tactile surfaces are available in a variety of materials, from cast iron to rubber; and are available as a cast in place or as a surface applied tile. They also come in a variety of colours to satisfy applications in specialty environments. Each municipality has the authority to specify the material and colour of choice.
We offer the full line of tactile surfaces for both interior and exterior applications that are all approved for applications in any Canadian Municipality.
