INSULATION

Insulated concrete is a key component to retaining the desired temperature of a structure. We carry standard expanded polystyrene insulation, as well as rigid extruded polystyrene insulation, that can be used in a variety of applications. Also available is spray foam, which is great for getting into hard to reach areas and for filling small gaps, where air may be trapped.

Expanded polystyrene insulation is the typical white beaded insulation. It is a lower cost insulation that works well for under slab protection from freeze/thaw cycles. It comes in a variety of thicknesses to suit any job requirements.

Extruded polystyrene insulation is commonly referred to as rigid insulation. Its dense properties make it an excellent insulator. It comes in different densities and thicknesses that effect the R value levels and can be used in many construction applications, including cavity wall insulation.

Spray foam acts as an insulator and an air barrier due to its ability to reach and expand into small holes or cracks that may not be visible to workers. This creates an air tight seal between the interior and exterior, where sheet insulation has seams.
